The Energy Recovery Programme - A new way to deal with fatigue and burn-out, harnessing the power of Nature and your body's own innate capacity to regenerate.

Fatigue and burnout is on the increase often the result of overwork, illness, surgery, the birth of a child, or as in my case a combination of overwork and 'trying too hard' followed by trauma and grief.

In our society we are not shown the tools of how we can care for our physical bodies during times of massive fatigue, or how to deal with the accompanying mental and emotional stresses which go with this including:

- overwhelm

- brain fog

- guilt at not being able to 'keep up'

- fear around loss of health

- frustration at not being able to do things which were normally very easy

- sadness as the loss of capacity and many others. 

 

I experienced all of these, and more, when I developed Adrenal Fatigue in 2012

 


Thankfully, with my background in Complementary Health, my knowledge as an Anatomy & Physiology Lecturer, and a skilful Health Coach trained in helping people recover from ME and Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, I was able to recover. 

Alongside this initial input I would use 2 of the most powerful healing modalities I know to transfom my health, Jin Shin Jyutsu and Flower Essences. By having an easy to follow daily practice of taking Essences and doing simple Jin Shin Jyutsu Self Help exercises I have gone back to doing the work I love, and am physically able to go back to doing the things I love the most, visiting and entertaining friends, singing, dancing, travelling, I've even been able to go camping..!

When I look back to how I was in 2012, bedbound and thinking I was going to die, this is a much happier state of affairs I can tell you.
